(PRESS RELEASE) -- Mark “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” Munoz wore the Toyo Tires® logo on his trunks while defeating Chris Leben in the headline event during UFC® 138, Leben vs. Munoz. Held on Saturday, November 5, at the LG Arena in Birmingham, England; the middleweight fight was filled with a fierce combination of strikes and grappling by Munoz. The battle ended after Round 2 when Leben’s corner called a stoppage to the fight and Munoz was awarded the victory by TKO.
Managed by MMA, Inc., the 6-foot tall, 33-year-old Munoz weighs 185 lbs. A former wrestling coach at the University of California, Davis; Munoz specializes in both wrestling and Muay Thai. Munoz wears the Toyo Tires logo on his fighting gear while also promoting the Toyo Tires brand through appearances and additional marketing efforts.
