Smith, who challenged for 205-pound gold in March 2019, had been in something of a free fall in Sherdog.com's light heavyweight rankings following back-to-back lopsided losses earlier this year, but his first-round submission victory against Devin Clark in the UFC on ESPN 18 main event on Saturday night allows him to maintain his No. 12 spot in our latest poll.
