Opening up the LFA 80 main card was a very controversial scrap between Sean Cerveny and Edwin Cooper Jr. Cooper did well to get the fight to the ground and control the action, cutting Cerveny a bit and making him bleed before Cerveny locked in an armbar attempt. Although it was a good attempt, Cooper never tapped. However, the referee stepped in to controversially stop the contest nonetheless.
