A big comeback by Gian Villante was halted after Maurice Greene managed to sink in something resembling an arm triangle off his back. Greene had the fight in control in the first round, but Villante came back thanks to thunderous leg kicks in the second. The third round saw Villante drop and almost finish the fight, although he was exhausted after he couldn't put Greene away.
