Brazil’s Junior Albini entered the Octagon for the first time in his life riding a nine-fight winning streak. Many picked Timothy Johnson to be too much for “Baby” but Albini proved otherwise as he torched Johnson in the first at UFC on Fox 25.
Johnson absorbed a knee to his robust gut at the midway point of the frame and when he was pelted by a follow-up right-left to the cranium, Johnson crumbled in a heap. Albini let loose a few more punches onto his fallen foe, but referee John McCarthy intervened, ending the heavyweight scrum at the 2:51 mark.
