Damon Jackson Reveals his Two-Year Plan

Damon Jackson has a big goal—and a plan to accomplish it. “The Leech” (21-4-1, 1 NC; 4-2-1, 1 NC UFC) is currently riding a four-bout winning streak, with just one loss in his last seven fights, and wants to capture the UFC featherweight title within the next two years. To do that, the one time Legacy Fighting Championship titleholder knows he needs to start defeating ranked opponents, but before he can start his climb to the top, he must get past Pat Sabatini in their upcoming clash at UFC Fight Night 210 on Sept. 17.

“Everybody that I fight from here on now, I want them to have a big ranking. I wanna move up in the rankings at featherweight. If they try to give me somebody else above 20 like this again, I'm gonna have to go up to 155 and fight there. I want the title. I wanna move towards the title, and that's just something that has to happen for me to stay at 45, for sure.”
