Brian KnappOct 22, 2021

One of the sport’s true icons will suit up for Bellator MMA when former Pride Fighting Championships heavyweight titleholder Fedor Emelianenko takes on Timothy Johnson in the Bellator 269 headliner on Saturday at VTB Arena in Moscow. The show serves as the Scott Coker-led promotion’s debut in Russia.

Bellator 269 “Fedor vs. Johnson”—which airs live on Showtime at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT—also features a heavyweight co-main event matching Vitaly Minakov with Said Sowma, a 160-pound catchweight tilt pitting Usman Nurmagomedov against Patrik Pietila and a middleweight affair pairing Anatoly Tokov with Sharaf Davlatmurodov. The undercard will stream in its entirety to the Bellator YouTube channel at 12:30 p.m. ET/9:30 a.m. PT, as a heavyweight battle between Kirill Sidelnikov and Rab Truesdale buoys the six-fight preliminary lineup.
