A proposed light heavyweight scrap pitting Andreas Spang against Shamil Gamzatov has been removed from the World Series of Fighting 26 lineup.

The bout was canceled after Spang contracted pneumonia and had to withdraw from the contest. The promotion recently announced the news via press release. Additionally, a lightweight matchup between Jonathan Nunezz and David Jordan has been added to Friday’s card.

WSOF 26 takes place at the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas and is headlined by a featherweight championship tilt between Lance Palmer and Marcos Alexandre Campos de Almeida. The evening’s main card airs on NBC Sports Network at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

Nunez, 30, suffered his first loss in six professional outings at WSOF 17, tapping to a Joe Condon guillotine choke 4:22 into the third round on Jan. 17. He debuted in the promotion with a split-decision triumph over Ozzy Dugulubgov in March 2014.

A Marvin Eastman protégé, Jordan will make his WSOF debut on a two-fight winning streak. He last competed on Aug. 7, taking a unanimous verdict over Jordan Chandler at Jeremy Horn’s Elite Fight Night 27.
