World Series of Fighting has announced a bantamweight fight between Bryson Hansen and Matt Sayles as the opening bout of the WSOF 12 main card on Aug. 9 in Las Vegas.
The fight will provide support for two of the promotion’s top lightweights, as Luis Palomino faces undefeated Californian Lewis Gonzalez in the evening’s main event. The card will air on NBC Sports Network and will also feature the promotional debut of former UFC middleweight Ronny Markes.
Hansen made his debut for the Las Vegas-based promotion at WSOF 9, needing only 46-seconds to defeat Sean Cantor. Five of the Hawaiian’s seven victories have come by way of knockout, including four in the first frame.
Since turning professional in January, Sayles has notched a pair of victories. The Alliance MMA product has never seen action leave the first round, beating both Dylan Stanfield and Chris Floyd by stoppage.
