A scheduled light heavyweight clash between Glover Teixeira and Misha Cirkunov has undergone a venue change.

Promotion officials announced Tuesday that the bout, originally set for UFC Fight Night 119 in Sao Paulo on Oct. 28, has been moved to UFC on Fox 26 in Winnipeg on Dec. 16. A reason was not given for the change.

UFC on Fox 26 takes place at Bell MTS Place and also includes a 205-pound clash pitting Antonio Rogerio Nogueira against Jared Cannonier. The card airs on the Fox Network following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

Teixeira, a former 205-pound title challenger, is coming off a fifth-round knockout loss to Alexander Gustafsson at UFC Fight Night 109 on May 28. The 37-year-old Brazilian owns notable wins over Rashad Evans, Ryan Bader, Quinton Jackson and Ovince St. Preux in the Octagon.

Cirkunov had an eight-bout winning streak snapped at UFC Fight Night 109 when he was knocked out 28 seconds into his encounter with Volkan Oezdemir. Prior to that, the 30-year-old Latvian had finished his first four opponents in the Las Vegas-based promotion.
