HBO PPV Weigh-in Results: Manny Pacquiao, Timothy Bradley on Point

By Mike Sloan Apr 8, 2016

On Saturday night inside the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, one of boxing’s biggest stars will be in action once again, though Manny Pacquiao claims it’ll be his last fighter before retiring to a life as a full-time politician. He’ll oppose rival Timothy Bradley for a third time and thanks to both men being on point at Friday’s weigh-ins, the fight was given the green light.

Bradley climbed to the scale and came in at 146.5 pounds for his welterweight rubber match with the Filipino legend. Not to be outdone, Pacquiao tipped the scale at 145.5 pounds, clearing the way for their anticipated showdown.

Arthur Abraham will be featured in a rare undercard battle as he takes on Gilberto Ramirez for the WBO super middleweight title. Abraham, who is looking to make his seventh defense of the title, officially checked in perfectly at 168 pounds, as did Ramirez.

The main card will be televised live on HBO Pay-Per-View, with the telecast beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. will have a free live stream of the underdcard, as well as a full play-by-play of the main event.
