PBC on NBC Weigh-ins: Guerrero, Martinez Both on Weight

The wait is just about over, but luckily for the fighters, arguably the hardest part about being a professional butt-kicker is the time leading up to the weigh-ins. Thankfully for all parties involved, all of the main card combatants made weight without a hitch.

The main event of the Premier Boxing Champions on NBC card Saturday afternoon features the welterweight attraction between popular pugilist Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero taking on heavy underdog Aron Martinez. The co-feature is a heavyweight attraction that is expected to be a slugfest where American Olympian Dominic Breazeale with clash with former Cuban amateur champ Yasmany Consuegra.

Martinez (19-3-1, four KOs) first made his way to the scale where he weighed in under the welterweight limit at 146.6 pounds. Former world champion Guerrero (32-3-1, 18 KOs) followed suit, but he was officially a pound lighter.

Consuegra (17-0, 14 KOs) tipped the scale at 231 pounds and looked trim and ready to scrap. American knockout artist Breazeale was next and though he did appear a little soft in the body, his weight of 260.5 pounds is usually where he competes.

PBC on NBC Weigh-in Results:

Robert Guerrero (145.6) vs. Aron Martinez (146.6)
Dominic Breazeale (260.5) vs. Yasmany Consuegra (231)
Vic Darchinyan (125.4) vs. Jesus Cuellar (125.8)
Delray Raines (160) vs. Alfredo Angulo (152.6)
