UFC Fight Night Weigh-in Results: ‘Shogun’ Rua, Ovince St. Preux Official in Brazil

Ovince St. Preux has a chance to bolster his resume in a dramatic way.

A late replacement for the injured Jimi Manuwa, St. Preux tipped the scales at 205 pounds for his five-round battle with former light heavyweight champion Mauricio Rua (206) in their UFC Fight Night main event on Saturday at Tancredo Neves Municipal Gymnasium in Uberlandia, Brazil.

UFC Fight Night “Shogun vs. St. Preux” -- which airs live on Fox Sports 1 at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT -- will feature a flyweight co-main event between Team Oyama’s Ian McCall (126) and John Lineker (126), along with a women’s strawweight clash pitting Juliana de Lima Carneiro (115) against MMA Masters export Nina Ansaroff (116) and a pair of welterweight tilts, as undefeated X-Gym prospect Warlley Alves (171) meets Alan Jouban (171) and London Shootfighters representative Claudio Henrique da Silva (171) faces Leon Edwards (170).

Two and a half hours prior, Fox Sports 2 will carry five preliminary matchups: Diego Rivas (146) vs. Rodolfo Rubio Perez (145), Caio Magalhaes (186) vs. Trevor Smith (186), Dhiego Lima (170) vs. Jorge Antonio Cezario de Oliveira (170), Leandro Silva (156) vs. Charlie Brenneman (156) and Thomas Almeida (136) vs. Tim Gorman (135). The lone remaining undercard bout will stream to UFC Fight Pass at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT, as American Top Team’s Colby Covington (170) locks horns with Wagner Silva Gomes (170).
