King of the Cage and Storm Stadium

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Storm will play host to mixed martial arts global powerhouse King of the Cage on Saturday, May 16th, 2009. Tickets are $45, $75 and $125.

Over 22 professional cage fighters will roll into what is touted to be one of the most picturesque baseball stadiums on the planet “The Storm Stadium”. There will be no less than 12 hard hitting, NHB, Mixed Martial Arts Cage Fights in one night. Punches, knees, submissions and knock outs are on the menu for the best fights MMA has to offer in Southern California.

In one of four main events from the Inland Empire is Heavy Weight and Lt. Heavyweight Champion Tony “Kryptonite” Lopez. One of the best of the best on his feet looks to again awe the crowd with his kicking and striking skills.

Super Heavy Weight Champion Neil “Chaos” Cooke, brings over 250 pounds of bully into the cage from Santa Ana, California. Chaos demands respect from who ever is attempting to take his recently acquired belt from champion Chance Williams.

Local Lake Elsinore favorite Joe Crilly brings amazing speed and heavy hands with a long history of Knockouts and Technical Knockouts.

Superstar Keith the “KO KID” Berry steps into the cage steel well armed with ground skills buts prides himself on maintaining his given name of Knock Out Kid. Look for Berry to swing for the fences.

Other superstar professional fighters joining the fight card are Greg Guzman, Rick Legere, Fernando Gonzales, and J. Kling with more to come.

Undercard bouts for the evening are loading with some of the ripest, raw talent in the fastest growing industry of MMA with local favorites such as Ruben Tagle, Miguel Cosio, Ruben Duran, Chris Culley, Aaron Miller, Adam Rothwiler, Illiam Goglia, Bryan Colebrook, Victor Rodarte, Zane Whitsfield, Kevin Sauer, Nikko Medina, Eric Jones, Erik Meadors, Daniel Hernandez and Johnny Hart.

Terry Trebilcock, President of King of the Cage stated “I have seen many baseball stadiums in many states and countries but none as nice as the Storm. We are looking to make the Storm Stadium our premier Southern California outdoor venue that has the capacity to hold over 13,000 fight fans for our events. We have put together some epic match ups on this fight card that will make for an amazing inaugural event at the Storm.”
