The second fight of the night put a game Ray Elbe up against the newcomer, Paul Silva. Silva looked to control the fight early but Elbe showed that he wasn't afraid to grapple with the jiu-jitsu purple belt. Silva appeared as if he just wanted to smash Elbe's face through the mat which ultimately led to his downfall as Elbe setup a tight armbar to finish the bout mid way through the first round. Elbe showed that guys from Arizona can actually fight! Silva showed that even an accomplished grappler can catch a case of the nerves. I'd like to see both guys back.
