RFA 43 Weigh-in Results: Camozzi, Barnes Ready for Title Fight

Las Vegas-based Resurrection Fighting Alliance will invade the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colo., Friday night with another card of mixed martial arts action. RFA 43 will be anchored by a scrum between Brian Camozzi and Nick Barnes for the vacant welterweight title while Adam Stroup and Gabriel Checco will oppose each other in a middleweight co-feature.

At Thursday’s weigh-ins, both main event combatants came in on the money, clearing the final path toward their title tilt. Barnes, who is coming off wins in Bellator and RFA this year, officially weighed in at 168.2 pounds. Camozzi, who has rattled off four impressive wins in a row, clocked in at 169 pounds.

Checco and Stroup were equally on point at the scales, greenlighting their 185-pound showdown. Checco tipped the scale at 185 pounds while his counterpart, Stroup, checked in at 185 as well.

AXS TV will televise the action, which will air live beginning at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
