“I’m excited to go and get that RFA belt and beat this dude’s ass,” stated Johnson. “I will be crowned the RFA light heavyweight champion on Dec. 9.”

“It’s basically a dream I have had since I was a kid and saw my first fight, to get a belt around my waist and why not for one of the top organizations in the world,” Tucker countered. “The ‘Freight Train’ is coming full steam ahead and I will win that title at RFA 46!”

The RFA will merge with Legacy Fighting Championship in a coalescing of two the nation’s best grassroots promotions. The merger will officially take place in January 2017 and the two forces together will be marketed at Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA). The new promotion’s maiden event will likely pit RFA champions against Legacy FC champions to crown inaugural titlists for LFA.

The entire RFA 46 main card will be televised live on AXS TV at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. Additional matchups will be announced in the coming weeks.
