Anthony Pettis made some room in his trophy case and hopes to add some additional hardware by the end of 2021.

The former Ultimate Fighting Championship and World Extreme Cagefighting titleholder will make his Professional Fighters League debut when he meets Clay Collard in the 2021 PFL 1 headliner on Friday at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The event, which showcases the lightweight and featherweight divisions, serves as the PFL’s return to the stage after more than a year-long hiatus brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.

PFL 1 “Pettis vs. Collard”—which airs live on ESPN2 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT—also features a lightweight affair pitting Natan Schulte against Marcin Held and a pair of featherweight tilts, as Movlid Khaybulaev faces Lazar Stojadinovic and Lance Palmer meets Bubba Jenkins. Meanwhile, ESPN+ will stream the undercard in its entirety at 5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. PT, the six-fight slate of prelims anchored by a featherweight duel between Brendan Loughnane and Sheymon Moraes.
