Brian KnappApr 08, 2022

A championship doubleheader will light up the Ultimate Fighting Championship marquee on Saturday when Alexander Volkanovski risks his featherweight title against Chan Sung Jung in the UFC 273 headliner and Aljamain Sterling defends his bantamweight crown opposite Petr Yan in the co-main event at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

UFC 273 “Volkanovski vs. Jung”—which streams live to ESPN+ pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT—also features a welterweight encounter pairing Gilbert Burns with Khamzat Chimaev, a women’s strawweight affair pitting Mackenzie Dern against Tecia Torres and a lightweight tilt matching Vinc Pichel with Mark Madsen. ESPN (8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT) and UFC Fight Pass (6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT) are scheduled to cover the undercard in its entirety, a welterweight clash between Ian Garry and Darian Weeks anchoring the eight-fight preliminary slate.
