Bellator Paris Lineup Set With Split Card Featuring Double Headliners

Bellator MMA is splitting up its upcoming card to air on various platforms.

The first set of matches will air on CBS Sports and Dazn for U.S.-based audiences, while it has been picked up for the first time by the BBC on the BBC iPlayer service. The four-fight Bellator 248 show as well as the Bellator Paris prelims will be shown on BBC iPlayer, but the last two fights of the night will not. The two-fight card of Kongo-Johnson and Saul Rogers vs. Arbi Mezhidov will move to Channel 5 in the UK.
With this release, the organization officially confirmed the loss of the Davy Gallon vs. Brian Hooi matchup, as news broke on Wednesday that Hooi tested positive for COVID-19. Additionally, it was formalized that Melvin Manhoef will not be facing Simon Biyong on the card. Finally, the promotion has added a women’s flyweight affair between Maguy Berchel and Lucie Bertaud to the prelims.
The event kicks off at 11:30 a.m. ET/8:30 a.m. PT/4:30 p.m. UK, and it will then switch to YouTube at 1:45 p.m. ET/10:45 a.m. ET/6:45 p.m. UK for the prelims. The final main card will begin at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT/10 p.m. UK with two bouts ending the night.
