O’Neill made her triumphant debut in February, when she smashed Shana Dobson in the second round to improve her unbeaten record to six up and none down. The 23-year-old from Australia made her way to the promotion from four victories on her father’s Eternal MMA league, followed by a battering of Christina Stelliou at an Abu Dhabi Warriors card in September.
Brazil’s Procopio rebounded from her first career setback – an unexpectedly contentious split verdict defeat to Karol Rosa – by prevailing over Molly McCann in February. The Nova Uniao prospect returned to her proper division of flyweight to bully around McCann en route to a decision victory. Four of Procopio’s last five victories dating back to 2016 have come on the scorecards.
The UFC Fight Night event on June 19 does not have a location or arena set yet, nor does it have a headliner. A highly anticipated welterweight battle between Dhiego Lima and Matt Brown is placed on the event, along with a strawweight clash between Virna Jandiroba and Kanako Murata.
