Fedor Emelianenko on Weight for Rizin FF Day 2 Headliner

The mixed martial arts world will now wait less than 24 hours for the return of “The Last Emperor.”

In his first action since June of 2012, former Pride Fighting Championships heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko will headline upstart Japanese promotion Rizin Fighting Federation’s New Year’s event.

Emelianenko took to the scale Wednesday near Tokyo and registered a tally of (236). His opponent, unknown Indian kickboxer Jaideep Singh, hit 233.

Rizin FF Day 2 will air via tape delay in the U.S. on Spike Dec. 31 at 10 a.m. ET.
