A heavyweight duel pitting Stefan Struve against Marcos Rogerio de Lima has been booked for UFC on ESPN+ 3 in Prague, Czech Republic.
The Las Vegas-based promotion recently confirmed the pairing. UFC on ESPN+3 takes place on Feb. 23 at O2 Arena and is headlined by a light heavyweight tilt between Thiago Santos and Jan Blachowicz. The card will also include a women’s flyweight bout between Liz Carmouche and Lucie Pudilova.
The 30-year-old Struve enters the bout on a three-fight skid. The Netherlands native ended 2017 with a third-round TKO loss to Alexander Volkov before dropping consecutive decisions against Andrei Arlovski and Marcin Tybura. “Skyscraper” is 12-9 over the course of a promotional tenure that began in 2009.
De Lima, meanwhile, has been victorious in two of his last three Octagon appearances. Most recently, “Pezao” outpointed Adam Wieczorek at UFC 230 on Nov. 3. The 33-year-old Brazilian is 5-3 in UFC competition and 16-5-1 as a professional overall.
