The 28-year-old is set to welcome Wellington Turman to the Octagon at UFC Sacramento on Saturday. He expects Octagon jitters to play a factor but knows he is the better fighter regardless.
“Octagon jitters are a real thing. Just the nerves of making your UFC debut get to you,” Roberson said to Sherdog.com. “Especially being on the main card so more people are there and everyone clapping and screaming and the lights. It has an impact, I don’t care what anyone says.”
“Baby K” expects Turman to be hungry and looking to make a statement in his debut. However, Roberson is confident in his skills that he will get his hand raised come Saturday night.
"He is going to go out hungry. It is his first fight and he is going to try and make a statement,” he explained. “I’m a vet now and plan on showing to him, I’m not going to let anyone, especially in their debut, beat me. He may try to take me down but I have been working on it. I’m going to exploit him.”
