After beginning his professional tenure with 10 consecutive triumphs, Laprise suffered his first career setback at UFC Fight Night “Holloway vs. Oliveira,” as he fell to Francisco Trinaldo via first-round technical knockout. “The Ultimate Fighter: Nations” winner owns triumphs over Bryan Barberena, Yosdenis Cedeno and Olivier Aubin-Mercier in the Octagon.

Meanwhile, Alves tasted defeat for the first time in 13 career outings at UFC Fight Night in Berlin this past June, when he was stopped in the second stanza by Mairbek Taisumov. The 32-year-old Brazilian began his promotional tenure with back-to-back triumphs over Garett Whiteley and John Makdessi.
