A heavyweight championship bout between Ben Rothwell and Andrei Arlovski will serve as the main event for BKFC Knucklemania 6 on Feb. 7 at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. Additionally, former UFC title challenger Yoel Romero will make his sophomore promotional appearance against light heavyweight champ Lorenzo Hunt in a non-title affair. BKFC announced the bouts, along with a rematch pitting Tony Soto against Ben Bonner, on Wednesday.
Rothwell and Arlovski initially squared off at Affliction “Banned” in July 2008, with Arlovski winning via third-round knockout. The Belarusian was also victorious in the rematch, winning a unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 4 in July 2019.
Rothwell has enjoyed success since parting ways with the UFC, posting a 4-0 record under the BKFC banner. In his most recent outing, the Wisconsin native claimed the heavyweight belt with a 36-second stoppage of Mick Terrill at BKFC Knucklemania 5.
Arlovski has competed in a few boxing variants since his UFC release. “The Pit Bull” has earned victories in Dirty Boxing, BKFC and Misfits Boxing thus far in 2025. In his BKFC debut, Arlovski scored a doctor stoppage win over fellow MMA veteran Josh Copeland on June 21.
Romero, who is scheduled to compete at Real American Freestyle Wrestling on Saturday, made his first BKFC foray on Sept. 12, knocking out Theo Doukas in the second stanza at BKFC 80. “The Soldier of God” has also earned a pair of victories under the Dirty Boxing banner.
Hunt’s BKFC tenure dates back to 2019. The light heavyweight champ has compiled an 11-2 record in the promotion during that time.
