The 24-year-old Mousasi suffered the third defeat of his career at the hands of Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal, a 2003 NCAA Div. I wrestling champion, at Strikeforce “Nashville” on April 17 in Nashville, Tenn. The unanimous decision defeat snapped an impressive 14-fight win streak for the Armenian-Dutch fighter, which includes victories over Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, Renato “Babalu” Sobral, and Melvin Manhoef.

O’Brien, who wrestled for Purdue University, has won his last two outings since he was submitted by rising star Jon Jones at UFC 100 in July 2009 in Las Vegas. In March, the 25-year-old Indiana native earned a unanimous decision over veteran Tony Valtonen at Fight festival 27 in Helsinki, Finland.

Also announced, middleweights Karl Amoussou and Kazuhiro Nakamura will face off; while UFC and recent ASTRA competitor Michihiro Omigawa will meet Korean Young Sam Jung in a featherweight attraction.

In another featherweight offering, Pride and Strikeforce veteran Mitsuhiro Ishida draws Daiki Hata. It will be the 31-year-ols Ishida’s first appearance since his third-round defeat to Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez last August.

In the evening’s main event, Japanese powerhouses Shinya Aoki and Tatsuya Kawajiri meet for the first time in a lightweight championship bout.

Dream 15 will air live on HDNet at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET.
