Report: Fertittas Sue Former Pride Owners
Feb 6, 2008
Pride FC Worldwide Holdings, a company created in the wake of the
sale of Pride to Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta, has filed a lawsuit
against the Japanese mixed martial arts company's former
ownership.
According to a report by the Wrestling Observer, the lawsuit against Dream Stage Entertainment, Dream Stage Holdings and DSE president Nobuyuki Sakakibara claims the defrauding of millions of dollars from the sale of Pride FC and Pride Bushido to the American owners of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
A source close to DSE told Sherdog.com on Tuesday that Sakakibara was preparing his own suit against the Fertittas for breach of contract stemming from the decision to shut Pride down last October.
