Ricky Rainey will lock horns with Marc Stevens in a welterweight bout at Bellator 182 on Aug. 25.

Promotion officials announced the pairing on Wednesday. Bellator 182 takes place at Turning Stone Casino in Verona, N.Y., and is headlined by a 170-pound clash pitting Andrey Koreshkov against Chidi Njokuani. Rainey vs. Stevens will take place on the preliminary draw.

Rainey has been victorious in three of his last four Bellator appearances. “The Sniper” last competed at Bellator 162, where he took a unanimous verdict against Gilbert Smith on Oct. 21. The 34-year-old is 12-4 as a professional overall, with seven wins coming via knockout or technical knockout.

A competitor on Season 12 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” Stevens has compiled a 21-10 mark over the course of a tenure that began in 2006. “The Spartan” has won five of his last six outings, including a third-round TKO stoppage of Robert Turnquest at Titan FC 44 on May 19.
