The UFC has moved the bout from Aug. 1 to Aug. 8. The change was confirmed by multiple outlets following an initial report from My MMA News. The UFC Fight Night card on Aug. 8 is expected to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and is headlined by a heavyweight tilt between Derrick Lewis and Alexy Oleynik.
A former Invicta FC titlist, Kunitskaya is 2-2 in the Las Vegas-based organization. After being stopped by Cristiane Justino in a featherweight championship bout in her Octagon debut, the 30-year-old Russian has won two of three fights at 135 pounds, posting wins over Lina Lansberg and Marion Reneau.
Vieira began her promotional tenure with four consecutive triumphs before suffering a first-round knockout loss to Aldana in her most recent appearance at UFC 245. The 28-year-old Brazilian’s resume includes wins over former title challengers Cat Zingano and Sara McMann.
