"The Boston Finisher" cemented himself as a top featherweight contender by defeating Giga Chikadze in his last outing. Prior to that bounce-back win, Kattar (23-5) had dropped a decision to Max Holloway in a brutal five-round fight. A winner of three of his last four, Kattar weighed 146 pounds for his fifth UFC main event.
Meanwhile, Emmett (17-2) is on a career-best streak, having won four straight fights inside the Octagon. The 37-year-old most recently won decisions over Dan Ige and Shane Burgos. It's now or never for the Team Alpha Male product to break through the ranks, and he'll look to do so in his second main event fight. Emmett stepped on the scale at 145.5 pounds.
UFC on ESPN 37 prelims begin on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT on ESPN2 and ESPN+. Action then moves to ESPN and ESPN+ for the main card, which starts at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
