The Ultimate Fighting Championship hosts a rare afternoon card in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday for UFC on ESPN 5, and two fighters came in heavy.

In the main event, former interim welterweight title holder Colby Covington (171) will return after more than a year off to take on former champ Robbie Lawler (170). "Chaos" last fought at UFC 225 in June 2018, where he beat Rafael dos Anjos by decision. "Ruthless" meanwhile, is coming off of a controversial submission loss to Ben Askren at UFC 235. The co-main event sees two longtime veterans go at it, as Jim Miller (154.75) takes on Clay Guida (154.5) at lightweight.

UFC on ESPN 5, which airs on Saturday, Aug. 2 entirely on ESPN, starts at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT, with the main card beginning at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT. The event also features a lightweight scrap between Joaquim Silva (155.25) vs. Nasrat Haqparast (156). In the middleweight division, Trevin Giles (185) fights Gerald Meerschaert (185.5). Lightweights collide as Scott Holtzman (156) takes on Dong Hyun Ma (158)*. Opening up the main card is a light heavyweight bout between Darko Stosic (206) and Kennedy Nzechukwu (205.5).

Two fighters missed weight: Dong Hyun Ma (158)*, who missed lightweight by two pounds, and Cole Williams (176)**, who passed the welterweight limit by five pounds. Ma has been fined 20 percent of his purse, while Williams has been fined 30 percent, and both fights will still proceed as scheduled.
