FIGHT UK release full card for upcoming 6th event

(PRESS RELEASE) -- FIGHT UK have today officially announced the completed card for their upcoming event which features no less than four title fights and a whole host of dynamite match ups.

The event is booked to take place on February 25th from the Athena in Leicester, England and the card is full of potentially explosive encounters.

Hard hitting Fraser Opie will step back into the cage to defend his light heavyweight title in a rematch that the champion has been waiting on for a long time. Dan Edwards defeated Opie way back in 2009 and will be coming to the Athena to repeat the feat and take home the coveted FIGHT UK light heavyweight title.

The vacant bantamweight belt will be up for grabs before that when TUF qualifier Karsten Lenjoint drops down to 135lbs to be met by the always dangerous Dino Gambatesa. Lenjoint, a dominant featherweight, will be looking to establish himself at bantamweight but Gambatesa’s submission prowess is undoubtedly a threat to any would be challenger.

The main card also features an outstanding featherweight bout between Team Colosseum destroyer Saul Rogers and the relentless Pete McGurk in an encounter that has all the potential to be a fight of the night contender.

The undercard is bolstered by two amateur championship bouts as Joe Rice battles Darren Higgins for the bantamweight belt and Lewis Gannon meets Sean Kelly for featherweight gold.
