Despite a global pandemic hampering many sports and industries around the world, mixed martial arts had a year to remember. MMA was one of the first sports to return to action and consistently kept its fans entertained throughout an often dreadful 12 months in the sporting world.
Sherdog contributor Jason Burgos and associate editor Jay Pettry looked back on the year that was through the annual tradition of the Sherdog Year-End Awards. The pair ran down the nominees for all 12 categories and unveiled the best fighters, fights and performances of 2020.
