Video: Ukrainian Bellator Welterweight Champ Yaroslav Amosov Rescues Belt from Warzone
The Bellator MMA welterweight championship belt is more than just metal, jewels and leather.
Bellator 170-pound king Yaroslav Amosov was scheduled to lock horns with Michael Page on May 13 at Bellator 281, but pulled out of the fight to defend his country of Ukraine from Russian invaders.
In the clip below, watch Amosov tread deep into a warzone to retrieve the fruits of his labor.
Amosov, 26-0, kept his perfect professional record intact as he claimed the undisputed Bellator MMA welterweight title with a five-round unanimous decision over Douglas Lima in the Bellator 260 headliner on June 11 of last year.
