A country marked by rugged wilderness, culturally diverse cities, breathtaking coastlines and bitter winters, Canada has served as the staging area for some of the greatest mixed martial artists of all-time. It has also been one of the most consistent markets for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. UFC 129 on April 30, 2011 drew 55,724 fans to the Rogers Centre in Toronto -- a record crowd for an MMA event in North America. It resulted in a $12,075,000 gate for the organization.
