The Walkmen: All UFC on ESPN 12 Walkout Tracks

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to its own Apex building in Las Vegas Saturday with an intriguing event headlined by top contenders Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker. With things still a bit odd with no fans watching the violence, all of the athletes on the marquee still walked down to combat with songs as various as the fighters themselves.

Poirier closed out the entire event to the late, great James Brown’s “The Boss” anthem, one of the best songs from years past. Hooker, meanwhile, used a song a bit newer as he walked out to “I Don’t Get Tired” from Kevin Gates.

Other standout tracks of the bight were “Fortunate Son” from CCR (Brendan Allen); Jay-Z’s outstanding “Roc Boys (And the Winner Is)” (Khama Worthy); Elton John’s “Philadelphia Freedom (Kyle Daukaus); and one of the highlights of UFC on ESPN 12 was when Jinh Yu Frey strolled out Rage Against the Machine’s crushing “Bulls on Parade.”
