Legendary rapper DMX was given a fitting sendoff at UFC on ESPN 22.

Born Earl Simmons and passing away at the age of 50 on April 9, the golden-throated artist known for a grimy delivery was the soundtrack to a generation of hip hop heads. That was evident Saturday at the Apex in Las Vegas, as two fighters paid tribute to “Dark Man X” as they made their cage walks.

Gerald Meerschaert selected the frequently used “What’s My Name” for his entrance, and Alexander Munoz on the main card utilized “X Gon’ Give it to Ya.”
