BAMMA 25 Weigh-in Results: All Title Fight Combatants Hit Marks

BAMMA, one of Europe’s most prestigious mixed martial arts promotions, returns with another event to satiate the bloodthirst of fight fans everywhere. BAMMA 25 will commence inside Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham, England and will be anchored by three title fights. The main card streams live and free on Sherdog.com at 5 p.m. ET.

The main event will see bantamweight champion Shay Walsh defending his title against Tom Duquesnoy in what should be a back-and-forth battle from the opening bell. France’s DuQuesnoy, who is unbeaten in eight of his nine bouts (one being a “No Contest”) strolled to the scale and nailed it, weighing (133.2) pounds. Not to be outdone, the reigning champion came to the scale and checked in at (134.4) pounds, making their title tussle official.

The co-feature will see Martin Stapleton defending his BAMMA lightweight strap against Damien Lapilus. The challenger tipped the scale at (154.2) pounds while Stapleton also clocked in at 154.2, also giving their duel the green light.

Finally, the BAMMA heavyweight crown is up for grabs as champ Mark Godbeer will defend against Stuart Austin, who on Friday weighed in at 232.2 pounds. “The Hand of” Godbeer crushed the scale, weighing 247.2 pounds for his defense.
