Bellator 228 Weigh-in Results: All Fighters on Target

Bellator MMA returns to The Forum in Inglewood, California, where the featherweight grand prix continues with the title on the line.

In the main event, Gegard Mousasi (186) takes on Lyoto Machida (186) in a rematch of their 2014 bout, where the Brazilian won by unanimous decision. The co-main event sees Patricio Freire (144.9) attempt to defend his featherweight belt when he takes on Juan Archuleta (144.6) as part of the tournament. "Pitbull" is coming off of a TKO win over Michael Chandler to become the lightweight champion as well. Archuleta has won all five of his Bellator outings, most recently knocking out former bantamweight champ Eduardo Dantas in June.

Bellator 228, which airs live on Dazn on Sept. 28 at 10 p.m. ET/7p.m. PT, also features three other grand prix bouts. First up, former bantamweight king Darrion Caldwell (144.9) takes on Henry Corrales (144.4). Next, former featherweight title challenger Daniel Weichel (144.2) battles Saul Rogers (144.8). Opening up the main card is the undefeated A.J. McKee (144.9) vs. Georgi Karakhanyan (145).
