Bellator Adds 8 Prelims to Bellator 300 Slate on Oct. 7, Including Neal vs. Cotton

Bellator MMA is loading up its preliminary card on Oct. 7 with as many names as it can muster.

On Friday, the organization sent out via press release an additional eight matchups that are now set for Bellator 300. This fight card will take place at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, and it will feature what the promotion is calling a “quadruple main event” with four championship tilts atop the billing all receiving main event status.

The preliminary lineup is currently expected to be headlined by Davion Franklin vs. Slim Trabelsi in a previously booked heavyweight affair. Several other fights including Henry Corrales vs. Kai Kamaka III at featherweight and Sara McMann against Leah McCourt also at 145 pounds were already on the prelim billing. The most noteworthy matchup of the new eight takes place at middleweight, as Bellator’s no. 9 Romero Cotton (6-1) throws down with Grant Neal (8-1) with a place in the top 10 likely on the line.

The seven additional fights set for the blockbuster Bellator showcase include: Sergio Cossio vs. Jesse Roberts at lightweight, Mukhamed Berkhamov taking on Herman Terrado in a welterweight contest, Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov vs. Maciej Rozanski at 205 pounds, a 160-pound catchweight match pitting Dmytryii Hrytsenko against Justin Montalvo, a bantamweight collision of Bryce Meredith and Miguel Peimbert, a women’s featherweight tilt between Lorrany Santos and Jackie Cataline, and a heavyweight opener of Josh Hokit vs. Spencer Smith in a battle of pro debutants.
