Back in 2016, Anthony
Johnson was considered the scariest man in the
Ultimate Fighting Championship given the fact he was knocking
out opponents left, right and center in the promotion’s light
heavyweight division. He eventually lost to the champion at the
time, Daniel
Cormier.
Fast forward to 2019 and the 35-year-old is preparing to make a comeback as a heavyweight. Although Johnson is eyeing a high-profile fight against the 205-pound champion Jon Jones, who he was meant to fight at UFC 187 before “Bones” was stripped of the title after his much-publicized hit-and-run incident involving a pregnant lady.
A clearly bulked Johnson recently told MMA Junkie that the only fight that would entice him to drop down to the 205-pounds would be Jones. Those comments haven’t gone down well with the champ, who made his feelings known on Twitter:
We’ve always been cool but I’ll be more than happy to choke you out if that’s what you’re looking for. @Anthony_Rumble

Since Johnson’s retirement, he launched his cannabis company, Competitive Body Development and was recently an ambassador for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
