After losing twice to Max Holloway in championship bouts, Jose Aldo has rebounded to post consecutive TKO triumphs over Jeremy Stephens and Renato Carneiro. Regarded by many as the greatest featherweight of all-time, the Nova Uniao stalwart has also bested the likes of Frankie Edgar (twice), Chad Mendes (twice), Ricardo Lamas, Chan Sung Jung, Kenny Florian, Urijah Faber and Cub Swanson over the course of his career.
Currently riding a 16-fight winning streak, Volkanovski earned the most significant victory of his career to date when he stopped Mendes in the second round of their encounter at UFC 232. The 30-year-old Australian is 6-0 in UFC competition, a record that also includes a decision triumph over durable veteran Darren Elkins.
