The 25-year-old Horiguchi was submitted with one second remaining of the fifth round by reigning 125-pound king Demetrious Johnson in their bout at UFC 186. Since then, the American Top Team representative has rebounded to post back-to-back decision triumphs over Chico Camus and Neil Seery. Horiguchi is 17-2 as a professional overall.
Bagautinov dropped a five-round verdict to “Mighty Mouse” at UFC 174. After falling to Joseph Benavidez in his next outing, the 31-year-old Dagestani returned to the win column with a unanimous decision triumph over Geane Herrera at UFC Fight Night “MacDonald vs. Thompson” on June 18.
UFC Fight Night 99 “Kim vs. Nelson” will be headlined by Dong Hyun Kim vs. Gunnar Nelson.
