Legacy FC 60 Weigh-in Results: East, Heden Primed for Heavyweight Showdown

By Mike Sloan Oct 6, 2016
Surging mixed martial arts promotion Legacy Fighting Championship is set for another night of action as on Friday night, combat will be the main course served inside the Grand Casino in Hinckley, Minn. Anchoring the marquee will be a heavyweight showdown between Tyler East and Brian Heden, with the live telecast beginning at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT on AXS TV.

At Thursday’s weigh-ins, everybody on hand made weight, clearing the final hurdle for all of the combatants. With the big boys not needing to figuratively kill themselves to make weight, both Heden and East went through the formalities regardless. Heden came in at 262 pounds while East clocked in 30 pounds lighter at 232.

In the co-feature, a welterweight showdown between Jos Eichelberger and Dakota Cochrane will unfold. Cochrane, a cast member of The Ultimate Fighter season 15 as well as a grizzled veteran of Titan FC, RFA and Bellator, looked as ready as ever at the scale; he weighed in at 170 pounds. Eichelberger, meanwhile, is ready to take that next step toward the big time. He clocked in at 170 pounds as well.
