Nine-time UFC veteran Norman Parke has signed an exclusive, multi-fight contract with Bellator MMA.
Sherdog.com confirmed the signing with a promotion official following an initial report from MMANytt.com. The 31-year-old Northern Ireland native is expected to make his Bellator debut later this year.
Parke won “The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes” to earn a contract with the UFC. He would go 4-0-1 in his first five Octagon appearances but won just once in his final four bouts before parting ways with the Las Vegas-based promotion.
The lightweight has since gone 3-1 with one no contest while competing for KSW and ACB. Parke is 24-6-1 since beginning his professional career in 2006.
