Tyron Woodley Issues Stark Warning to Darren Till Ahead of Their Clash This Weekend

Reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight champion Tyron Woodley has issued a warning to Darren Till and the rest of the welterweight division as he aims for a fourth consecutive title defense this weekend.

In the second episode of “UFC 228 Embedded,” while Woodley is in the sauna cutting weight for the fight, he verbalizes a pep talk -- to himself, as there is nobody else present but the UFC’s cameras -- ahead of his fight on the weekend.

“I am the chosen one,” Woodley said. “I am the best welterweight that’s ever f*cking fought in the Octagon ever, in the history of the sport. I will be victorious. I will reign. I will defend my title until I get tired of doing it. I will go out here. I will viciously beat Darren Till. I will beat him so bad he will reconsider fighting ever again in his life. He will move up to middleweight and every other welterweight will be on notice.”

Woodley is well aware of the criticism he’s received regarding his defensive approach to recent fights and assures fans that if the game plan doesn’t go as planned against Till he will attack at will.

“My coach told me, he said, ‘If the game plan goes to sh*t, and things get ugly, and all else fails,’ motherf*cker just fight’. Just fight,” Woodley said.
