Dumas was booked at 6:13 a.m. local time on Tuesday. TMZ Sports was first to report the UFC middleweight’s arrest. A video on Dumas’ Facebook page depicts a tense confrontation between Dumas and two police officers in front of a home.

“I’m beyond f—-ing pissed,” Dumas can be heard saying in the video. “…How am I disturbing the peace when I was walking.”

One officer can be overheard saying that they responded to a call from a woman claiming “her boyfriend was banging on the door and ringing the doorbell.” Dumas responds that he is no longer in a relationship with the woman in question.

Dumas appears to be taken into custody as the video ends.

“What are you doing?” Dumas says in the video. “This is bulls—t.”

Dumas has a lengthy criminal history that was brought to light prior to his UFC debut. This includes allegedly punching a woman during an incident that began at a bar in Pensacola, Florida in August 2022 a few days before Dumas fought on Dana White’s Contender Series. According to a police report, the brawl spilled out of the bar and continued over several blocks. Dumas was accused of initiating the melee and also of brandishing a firearm, but the case was ultimately closed without arrests being made.

Dumas’ criminal record dates back to 2014 and includes pasts arrests for shoplifting, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, trespassing on school property with a weapon or firearm, resisting arrest and obstruction without violence and domestic battery.

After dropping his Octagon debut to Josh Fremd at UFC Fight Night 221, Dumas has earned back-to-back decision wins over Cody Brundage and Abu Azaitar in his last two promotional appearances. The 28-year-old is currently scheduled to face Nursulton Ruziboev at UFC on ESPN 54 in Atlantic City, New Jersey on March 30.
