Vicente Luque to Meet Mike Perry in UFC Uruguay Co-Headliner on Aug. 10

Vicente Luque will face Mike Perry in a welterweight showdown in the UFC Uruguay co-main event.

Multiple outlets confirmed the pairing following an initial report from MMAUncensored. The card takes place in Montevideo Uruguay on Aug. 10 and is headlined by a women’s flyweight title bout between Valentina Shevchenko and Liz Carmouche.

Luque is currently riding a five-bout UFC winning streak and has finished all of his opponents by knockout, technical knockout or submission. He last appeared at UFC Fight Night 152, earning a TKO win over Derrick Krantz in the opening stanza.

Perry, meanwhile has been victorious in two of his last three outings within the Las Vegas-based promotion. Most recently, “Platinum” outpointed Alex Oliveira at UFC Fight Night 150 on April 27.
