The evening’s undercard streams live and free on Sherdog.com and will see ex-Bellator talent Will Romero do battle with Lenny Wheeler in a featherweight duel. The preliminary draw will additionally feature a heavyweight clash pitting UFC alumnus Tim Hague against Lee Mein, as well as a 200-pound catch-weight bout between Matt Baker and Mike Kent.
Mocco, 32, has thus far been perfect as a mixed martial artist, scoring three of his four victories by way of submission. The onetime Olympian last competed on Nov 1, when he finished Alonzo Roane with a third-round arm-triangle choke.
In Rama, Mocco faces a 21-year-old coming off his first loss. The Canadian began his career with six consecutive victories but was knocked out in his Oct. 4 clash with Anthony Hamilton, who felled the prospect with a second-round high kick to win the vacant MFC heavyweight title.
